Our Story

David Fischer is a 17-year-old who lives in Newton, Massachusetts. When his 12-year-old sister, Natasha, was 6 months old, she was diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome, a severe form of epilepsy. After experiencing first-hand the difficulties of managing epilepsy and keeping track of so many things at once, he wanted to create something that would make the process easier for all caregivers. In March of 2020, he started the development of Appilepsy with the goal of combining many different tools that help with epilepsy management into a single application.
